Pointe shoes, tiny Ts, and fancy cars, oh my!
Doing the no-pants dance on the strip…
This shoot was definitely awesome. After handstanding on the railing of the Bellagio during the fountain show, someone approached me and said they’ve been following me on Facebook and Instagram for years. I was surprised and flattered. I sort of brushed it off though, thinking- perhaps he’s confusing me for someone else. Then, a short time later, I was doing needlescales in front of the Cosmo. I looked up and saw someone standing next to my photographer and I heard his ask, “is that Cheryl Birch?” Whaaaaat?!?!? I said, “hey! Did I just hear my name over here?” The guy said he’d been at the Leather and Laces Superbowl party I’d performed at in 2018 in Minneapolis. Holy buckets! I really did just get recognized- for real! He even knew my full name! Ok, really, this felt amazing. And it made me look like a total badass in front of my photographer. Haha.
I’m so excited to have done this very different style of shoot. I love opportunities to grow and try new things. I throughly enjoy the creative process.
I love getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things. I’ve never posed with a car before, and I really liked it 🙂
Drawing a crowd on the Strip. For a performer, I’m actually a bit bashful about making a scene in offstage situations. I warmed up to the idea pretty quickly though… as you can see. I’m super excited to do another shoot like this. Definitely enjoyed the experience and LOVE how the shots came out!
Umm, YES ❤
