A lifelong dancer and gymnast, Cheryl’s first true passion was realized when she was 12 years old, seeing Cirque du Soliel’s Dralion. Immediately, she fell in love with the contortionists and hand balancer. She quickly got to work, training to contort like those incredible, world-class performers.
While her father would not allow her to run away with the circus, she was able to enroll in a local youth circus school and begin receiving formal training in contortion. She was quickly added to other aerial acts, and finding her next favorite; the aerial hoop/Lyra.
Cheryl holds a degree in psychology, and worked in mental health for a number of years before returning to her passion for movement and physical health as a personal trainer.
Cheryl has taught gymnastics, dance, kickboxing, rowing, sculpting, TRX, yoga, aerial yoga, Handbalancing, aerial acrobatics on Lyra And Aerial Hammock, Contortion, self myofascial release, partner acro, and more!
As a performer, she offers a variety of acts including Contortion, Handbalancing, Lyra, aerial silks, aerial hammock, contact juggling (flag poi, staff), and other specialty acts.
